The Shanghai International Arts Festival has been running since 1999, the festival normally lasts for a month & includes art exhibitions, arts & crafts, also featuring is perfomances from magicians, dancers, acrobatics, theater & orchestras. There are also numerous competitions taking place.

Shanghai Tourism Festival 1st of October - 30th of November

The Shanghai Tourism Festival is all about teaching visitors about Shanghai's history & culture, while also showing them what is on offer in Shanghai. There are over 100 events that includes fireworks displays, food events, with food from around the globe also bicycle tours to just name a few, if your interested in Chinese culture, then this is a festival you won't want to miss.

Chinese National Day 1st of October

Chinese National Day celebrates the founding of the People's Republic of China, the main areas for the celebrations are the Nanjing Dong Lu & the Bund, where you can expect to see plenty of fireworks as part of the full scale celebrations, all in all this is an ideal time to visit Shanghai, im sure you wont regret it.
